THE INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL PARK /INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION/

Key Concept: “A Day worth spent”

The site is located in newly developed Yarmag area, which is approximately 13 km away from the city center. The design of the master plan focuses to create “a loop of activities” intertwining with cultural, educational, commercial spaces where people can get a feeling of “A Day worth spent”.

Driving the urban residents into a new lifestyle center supported by the green area is the primary concern of this master plan development.

The given greenfield is thought to be developed by introducing green park, leisure area, botanic garden, memorial park, water facilities, office, hotel, commercial and retail area where art crafts are primarily focused, business center, cultural indoor and outdoor activities, sport events. These mixed-use activities are in walkable approach and create place-making for visitors, becoming one of the largest mixed-communities.

The design intention is to mix all activities within the walkable reach, rather than separating them by single blocks. This will create a constant torrent of visitors becoming a key driver for the tenants.

All activities are interconnected by the 5m wide multi-purpose track (pedestrian, bicycle and golf-cart if necessary)
