RIVER CASTLE TOWER

Key Concept: The design establishes a connection between the building and the riverbank, creating a continuity of urban and pedestrian free flow.

As part of the urban renovation of the spoiled city center, these 25-story residential towers connected by a commercial podium revitalize the area by incorporating a shopping center, high-quality amenities, and upper-median residences. The project begins with the idea of maintaining the continuity of pedestrian walkways along the riverbank and creating a direct connection to the building. It supports the urban fabric and landscape by creating enjoyable strolling paths, a pedestrian-friendly square, and a lively public space.

The site is located 2 km away from the central point of the city and lies along the Selbe River. There are two main road accesses: one to the north-right and one to the left. The road on the right is accessible from the ground floor, whereas the road on the left is planned to go under the public square to directly connect to the river. The main drop-off areas are on the right, and the service accesses are from the left through the first basement floor. Each road meets the requirements for fire truck access and supports the pedestrian-friendly zone. The front part of the podium is terraced to create a spatial connection to the river.
